The Philippine Bar Association was invited by Padel Pilipinas, the official Philippine Padel Federation, headed by Senator Pia S. Cayetano, to an introductory session of padel.
Padel is a racket sport that is best described as a combination of squash and tennis. This racket sport is growing in the Philippines and lawyers too have found themselves hooked to this sport.
The introductory session was attended by PBA President Joel Raymond R. Ayson and Treasurer Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista. PBA members were among the participants in the informative, fun, and social padel session. It was held at Play Padel in Greenfield District, Mandaluyong.
In addition to its mission, the PBA also supports different sports and wellness activities. In 2023, the PBA also co-sponsored the UP Sunflower Run in honor of women and children.
