Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista is a Partner of Angara Abello Concepcion Regala and Cruz. She is an experienced litigator with a growing experience on compliance issues, corporate matters and special projects. She represents clients in a wide range of disputes from criminal, civil, and commercial disputes. She also has significant experience in environmental law litigation. In addition to advising clients on investing and establishing their businesses in the country and advising them on different compliance issues, she also represents clients on M&A deals.
Ms. Bautista also teaches in the University of the Philippines. She teaches remedial law subjects, such as Criminal Procedure and Special Proceedings. She also belongs to the panel of lecturers of the U.P. Law Center’s Paralegal Training Program.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English Studies from the University of the Philippines where she graduated magna cum laude. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the same university. She then obtained her Master of Laws from Columbia University in New York and graduated with honors as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. She is also admitted to the New York Bar.
