Maria Teresita Geraldine C. Sison Go

Maria Teresita Geraldine C. Sison-Go is a Partner of Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc and Angeles. Her practice focuses on immigration. She handles applications with the Bureau of Immigration for the continued stay of foreign nationals and their dependents in the Philippines and assists clients in procuring work permits. She represents foreigners who desire to be naturalized Filipino citizens and handles visa applications on behalf of foreign nationals who are married to Filipinos and whose countries have reciprocity agreements with the Philippines.

She was the President of the Philippine Bar Association from 2010 to 2011 and is currently the National Treasurer of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. She is also a former President of the Women Lawyer’s Circle of the University of the Philippines from 2002 to 2004. She is a recipient of the Outstanding Integrated Bar of the Philippines Chapter President Award and was also awarded as one of the Outstanding Scholastica Alumnae Awardees in 2006.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines in 1975. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the same university in 1980.
