Paul J. Bongco

Paul J. Bongco is the Managing Partner of Bongco & Frez Law Offices located in Legaspi Village, Makati City. Mr. Bongco specializes in complex litigation, civil, corporate and criminal, commercial arbitration and immigration.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 1992 and Bachelor of Laws in 1997, both from the University of the Philippines (UP), and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1999. Immediately, he joined one of the oldest law firms in the Philippines, the Quasha Ancheta Pena & Nolasco, a member of INTERLAW (an International Association of Independent Law Firms) until 2007. He accepted invitation to become Associate Corporate Legal Counsel of JG Summit Holdings, Inc. for a year. In 2008, he joined the global law firm, BakerMcKenzie, as its Global Professional Support Lawyer for the Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration Practice Group.

He is involved in professional and civic organizations such as the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Philippine Institute of Arbitrators, Philippine Christian Lawyers Fellowship, Inc., Philippine Merchant Marine Academy and the New York State Bar Association.
